At the end of 2010 Dirk and I were in the small yet touristy town of San Pedro De Atacama in Chile for a few days. One day we rented bikes and went cycling in the desert. These pictures tell the story of our journey to ‘The Devil’s tunnel’. Since this week’s photo challenge is ‘On the move’, I thought these pics were appropriate.
not very shady in the desert?
Nope, I was getting very worried at one stage, because the way back was very long and we only had a few sips of water left!
Cool. Looks like a place with awesome opportunities for some downhill biking and/or trail biking.
Indeed; these photo’s don’t show it, but it was quite a steep downhill from the ‘Devil’s tunnel’.
The 6933 is impressive! It looks like an infinite path! Chile must be awesome 🙂
